Veterans Day is an official United
States federal holiday that is observed annually on November 1, honoring people
who served in the U.S. Veterans Day
takes place in November 11. The purpose of Veterans Day is when we honor the
brave men and women, living or dead, who fought American’s battles, past and
present.
Ways to honor veterans is by:
1. Place
flowers/flags on the graves of veterans
2. Attend to
Veterans Day parade
3. Take a moment of
silence to remember those who gave their lives to protect our freedom
4. Wear red, white
and blue
5. Say the pledge
of allegiance
How I feel about Veterans
Day is that we should honor the veterans who have died and are alive for
protecting us. Veterans Day a sad day for some families knowing that their
loved ones pasted away while protecting us, and the changed they have done to
the world. Veterans Day should be a day we should never forget.
