A place that i will like to go is catalina island. Catalina island is located in a rocky island off the coast of the united states in the gulf of santa catalina. A road trip take apporximaliy a hour and cost about $70 helicopter services avaliable in long beach or san pedro, has many cruises. The hightest point of the island is 2,097 feet. Catalina was originally settled by native americas, during those thime the island was used for otter hunting and gold digging. I want to go there because it looks like a nice place to visit. i will also like to visit there because its close and its not that far from california. I selected this place to go to because instead of taking a airplane you can travel by helicopter or boat. I will like to go there because its a different place to go and it looks peaceful.
