  The quote by Marcus Aurlius means don't do anything that is wrong because it is a waste of time don't do it and don't say it because it is wrong. For example if you know you did something wrong you shouldn't be doing it and if you get caught you shouldn't say a lie because none of that is true. You should always say the truth no matter what at least you know what you did wrong and you learned from you  mistake. If you do what is right you are showing integrity nobody wants some one that lies a lot and doesn't know what their doing its important to show integrity. Its better to not to do anything wrong because you don't have to worry about what you did and if you did something wrong its better to let it out and never do it again.
