Health Educator

Duties and responsibilities: Health education is a profession of educating people about health. Areas associated are environmental health, physical health, social health, emotional health, intellectual health, and spiritual health. It can be defined as the principle by which individuals and groups of people learn to behave in a manner conductive to the promotion, maintenance or restoration of health. Health education as comprising consciously constructed opportunities for learning involving some form of communication designed to improve health literacy, including knowledge, and developing life skills which are conductive to individual and community health.

Salary: $30,913-$60,539

Education: Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, it is common for health educators to hold master’s degrees, some programs are offered. In addition in this field tend to take classes inhuman development, psychology and social work.

             I wouldn’t like to be a health educator because I am not interested.
